Outpost is a player-friendly safe zone monument found on most procedural maps. Inside the compound you cannot hurt other players or be hurt by them, which makes it the default hub for trading, recycling, and early progression without raid pressure.

The area includes safe-zone recyclers, a research table for unlocking blueprints, multiple vending machines, and NPC mission givers. Scientists and hostile NPCs do not patrol the compound itself, so you can organize loot and craft in relative peace—though the surrounding roads and approaches are still open world.

Outpost is one of the two classic safe-zone towns alongside Bandit Camp. New players often run here after spawning to scrap components, buy essentials, and pick up starter missions before pushing into tiered monuments.
